It started in 1981 when Budd and Sally Gellner loaded up a single cleaning van and got to work in Winter Park, Florida. No corporate backing. No blueprint. Just a commitment to doing the job right and treating every customer like a neighbor.

Over four decades later that same commitment drives everything the Steam Team does. What began as a one-vehicle operation has grown into a multi-state franchise with over 100 professional cleaning vehicles, over 200 team members, and hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers across Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas.

The Gellner family still runs the business today — personally invested in every location, every team member, and every customer that calls 1-888-STEEMER. 

Along the way the Steam Team has built something that goes beyond the business. Through their internal community organization, the Gellner family donates a minimum of $100,000 every year to local and national charities across the communities they serve. From Florida to Texas, giving back has always been part of how this family operates — not as a marketing effort, but as a personal commitment that started long before it was fashionable.
